MilHouse - Buenos Aires - Argentina

Milhouse, had been recommended by many friends who have also visited Buenos Aires as the 'sociable party hostel'. Luckily it was around the corner from our B&B as we haven't quite mastered carrying our bags with any sense of style or ease. Actually lets be honest I haven't mastered being able to carry my bag at all! 17 kilos. So much for packing light.

Katharine's friend had said that the hostels in BA were mostly single sex when she had visited a few years ago, so entering a room of 6 Israeli boys was a bit of a shock. However were perfectly pleasant and friendly - The only thing that wasn't were the Mosquitos! My complexion now resembles someone in the early stages of chicken pox. Just the look I was going for.

Unfortunately we did not do ourselves, friends or family proud by taking the crown as the party girls of the hostel. Instead our heads hit the pillow by midnight. I blame walking over 10 miles in 35 degrees heat for that.

Next stop Mendoza, the wine region of Argentina. Can't wait!! A 14 hour bus ride for somewhere that doesn't look that far away on the map. Quickly realising the sheer size of this country. Luckily it's overnight so hopefully we can get some sleep, anywho better get going...
